Going North – Day 8

Hi Everyone, Day 8.

It was a cold day today, everything out here requires effort and there’s no switching off. While skiing I’m looking out for bears then I put my tent up, I boil snow to get water and cook my dinner and when it’f finally time for bed I am still listening out for bears. So the days feel pretty long, but we keep taking it one day at a time.

This blog post is dedicated to Dacia. As part of my training, I’m often dragging tyres around (to simulate me pulling a sled) and for the first time ever, I can fit both tyres in the back of my car with the Dacia Bigster. I can also fit both my sleds in the car! Huge thank you to Charlie Roper and everyone at Dacia for bringing me into the Dacia adventure community.

Also a huge thanks to Pete Rhodes for bringing it all together.
