Hi Everyone, Day 17.
Low cloud today and more pressure ridges. So I spent a fair amount of time with my ski’s off, climbing the ridges and pulling my sled over.
Todays post is dedicated to my mum. Often people ask me how my mum copes with me doing these expeditions and I know she worries when I’m on trips but she’s never stopped me. When I was born, she was so excited to have a little girl because she wanted me to have opportunities that she didn’t have.
Last year, my mum climbed her first ever mountain aged 59, Mount Snowdon. She usually goes for walks in Derby on the pavements but hadn’t ever done anything like this before. I am so proud of her for getting to the start line and achieving it. Love you mum!
