Going North – Day 36

So I came across another bear last night. Luckily my polar bear fence worked, meaning I heard the flare go of which acts as an alarm system. So I woke up and shot another flare to scare the bear away.

It was pretty windy last night and with every big gust of wind I often think I am hearing something. I would say it’s better when it’s slient, but first I can hear my own breath, then when I hold my breath I can hear my heart beating loudly and I keep thinking that’s the bear. I know I am sleeping but I dont think it’s very much and it’s definitley intermittent so that’s one thing i’m looking forward to when i’m finished.
